"Best Kept Secret in New Hampshire"

Written in the Union Leader by "Travels with Shorty's"

Lucky and I were invited to a gorgeous spring wedding at what might be one of New Hampshire's best kept secrets: The Stephen Clay Homestead on Rt. 27, across from the current town library in charming downtown Candia.

This place, which is also a B&B, offers meeting or party rooms inside as well as the type of outside function under a large tent which we attended. They don't do the food but will help you in that regard. The excellent Sunshine Catering did a terrific job the day we were there. The grounds, plantings and flowers are beautiful - very elegant, but you still know you're in New Hamsphire.
